A great leader and explosive player, James is a physical defensive tackle who always plays with high energy and can get to the ball quickly to stop plays before they become dangerous.  While he is outstanding in the physicality department, James has been working on his speed and agility by spending extra time with his coaches knowing they push him to be the best player he can be.  James also knows that to be a successful athlete you should also continue to refine your strengths.  He grew up loving the game of football and was attracted to the Defensive Tackle position because he could be gritty and aggressive to lead his team.  The fast pace of the position is also something James enjoys as he is almost always involved in the play and in only his second year of football, he has thoroughly enjoyed his position with the Ohio Tigers Academy.  When James is not playing football, he is either playing basketball or baseball, but you can also find him with a youth mentorship program to give back to his community.  In the game of football, James has had some moments to be proud of despite such a short career.  He finds the most satisfaction being a part of the Ohio Tigers Academy and being able to volunteer and give back to the community that has done so much for him.  Being able to participate in tournaments in Ohio is also thrilling for James being able to show off his abilities on the gridiron.  Mastering skills and techniques is what James is looking for currently as he knows to be successful in football it is not all about physicality.  With a long career ahead of him, we look forward to seeing James take the next steps in football.
