Jack Blakeslee is a pro style quarterback who is a real threat to any defense.
His ability to see the field, identify quickly what teammates are open and throw the ball with control and throw it deep are all skills that help to make up his promising future. His ability to play at a high level has already shown that he can handle a larger stage, as he has played on teams older than his age level and was still given the nod to start.
Blakeslee is a true leader on the field. He is the guy that they look to when they need something done. He is in control of the offense and with every play he helps them get closer and closer to the end zone. He carries the leadership skills he has learned on the field to other areas of his life as well. In places like school or at home, he is someone you can count on. He always tries his best and works hard.
Some of Blakeslee’s favorite ways to train are with ladders in order to have quick footwork and practicing the fundamentals of football. Whether that be passing or running with the ball, it is important to continuously work on the basics in order to consistently improve. He also gets good grades at school and is hoping to one day attend the University of North Carolina to continue his academic and athletic endeavors
