Jacob Nowden is a skilled center who loves to control the game.

As a center, Nowden controls the snap and is heavily involved in every offensive play. Being a good center requires a lot of skill and finesse, as the ball needs to sail directly into the quarterback's hands so the offense can get moving. This is one of Nowden’s favorite things about football. He is in control and nothing can happen until he makes a move.

He has been an MVP for his team, gone to events to show his skills and won countless trophies and rings. Nowden might be young, but he is good at what he does.

Some of Nowden’s favorite ways to train are by doing drills with repetition. Continuing to snap the ball over and over again builds awareness and muscle memory to how to snap the ball effectively. He practices both the snap count and the silent snap count.

Nowden loves the teamwork aspect of football. Everyone on the field has a job to do and a role to fill. His teammates and him work together and spend lots of time together on and off the field.

He doesn’t have any set future plans, but would love to play in Alabama Stadium one day. Whether at the college level or the chance in one of his youth games, Nowden is a skilled player that will only continue to improve.
