While a running backs job is to carry the rock after the quarterback hands him the ball, some catch the ball out of the backfield, proving to be a duel threat. Degutis also has this in his arsenal, proving to be a critical offensive threat and a quarterback’s best friend. His favorite route to run is the deep post, as he strives for points to defeat the opposing team. However, his work ethic is what stands out, especially at such ayoung age. Degutis loves to do catching drills, showing that he wants to be more than just a situational player; he’s eager to be the best playmaker possible.
