The official Prospects by Sports Illustrated 7v7 Series will consist of teams from across the nation ranging from high school, travel clubs and recreational players who want to participate on a competitive level. This tournament series will have over 6,000 athletes competing, 10,000 total participants in attendance, over 20 states in attendance and 9 events in total (6 regionals, 2 majors, 1 national championship). 


Prospects by Sports Illustrated creates and delivers high quality events which are centered around the experience for players, parents, coaches and participants. This series will bring together the best of the best in North America to engage in fierce competition. PSI Youth Power Rankings

Prospects 7 v 7 Series have a higher weight then other tournaments in the Official Prospects by Sports Illustrated Youth Power Rankings.

    PSI RANKINGS

    With limited events in 2020 the PSI rankings release has been delayed to mid 2021. PSI will be releasing a 2021 Watch list in the next few weeks. Stay tuned! 


    Rankings will be based on a number of factors, the first being strength of schedule on the local, regional and national level. PSI will consider its own pre and post season events as well as other reputable sanctioned and non-sanctioned events.

    Additional data points will include regular season standings, playoff status and championship victories in specific conferences and leagues. Standings will be verified by league and conference commissioners and our National Rankings Committee.

    PSI will also utilize its own scouts and reporting entities as part of our "Grass Roots, Ground Level" initiative to ensure accuracy and comprehensive results.
