Elijah Gerber from Montgomery, Texas, will look to play like his favorite golfer in Justin Thomas for this year's Texas Showdown. Gerber has had some magnificent success at such a young age so far. Under Armour ranked him in the top 30 of the United States, while he also finished in the top 10 in the Under Armour Regional tournament.

Geber also landed 2nd place in the STPGA Fall Championship. His past success has set him in a comfortable position for the 2022 Texas Showdown.
