One of Miami’s best Championship Golf Courses
The Senator Course at Shula's Golf Club is a classic style course located in the serene town of Miami Lakes. The Senator Course is known for its classic style and lush tropical landscape. Originally designed by Bill Watts in 1962 and later updated in 1998 by nationally recognized Golf Course Architect Kipp Schulties, it is the perfect destination for elite golf.
The Golf Club, a unique property in a true country club setting, has a driving range and practice area. Shula’s Golf Club is home to The Original Shula’s Steak House, “One of America’s Best”, upscale dining, celebrating the 1972 undefeated season of the Miami Dolphins. The 18-hole, Par 72 course features Championship Bermuda greens and trees, a driving range, and practice area.
Shula’s Hotel & Golf Club is just minutes from downtown Miami. Only a 30 minute drive from Miami International Airport (MIA) and Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL). Many popular sites and attractions such as South Beach, Hard Rock Stadium and Fort Lauderdale are located within close proximity.
Players will start with an 18 hole practice round and then get to test their skill in 36 holes the following days. Along with the practice round the first day there will be a reception and food to follow. Tournament features will also include live scoring throughout the tournament and drone footage of the course. You will be sure to want to compete for the top prize of getting your player profile published on our Prospects by Sports Illustrated website!
Each player will get to start their tournament with a practice round on the course. They will get to test out the course and then complete the rest of their 36 holes the following two days.

Reception Opening Night
Opening night there will be a reception for the parents and families of participants. This will give everyone the opportunity to meet and socialize while enjoying dinner.
Participants will be able to submit their player profiles for publishing on Prospects by Sports Illustrated's website, and top finishers will earn PSI Points that will go towards deciding the Prospects by Sports Illustrated's Junior Golfer of the Year award.
