Alex Laurenza is not just a fun and energetic player to watch on the ice. The Toronto Jr. Canadiens forward is jam-packed with offensive talent. Laurenza can score goals just as well as he can create them. There isn’t a whole lot that Laurenza can't do when he is on the ice. He is a hard-worker, plays a smart game, and is a threat in the offensive zone. Laurenza has the unique ability to compliment the play of those around him and play to their strengths. Laurenza has a strong offensive toolkit highlighted by his awareness and vision. He always knows where to be on the ice to help out his team. Laurenza is a very dangerous player around the net. He makes the most of any space he is given and can create chances in the smallest of spaces. If Laurenza gets the puck in the slot, he is going to make his opponents pay. Laurenza possesses a quick release on his wrist shot with pin-point accuracy. Another key part of Alex Laurenza’s game are his hands. He can stun goaltenders with quick moves that leave them powerless to stop. He’s a strong puck mover who uses his hands to keep control of the puck and create space to get it off of his stick.
