Ben-Chaim Lalkin is a player who has surely caught the eyes of scouts. Lalkin became internet famous when a video surfaced of a stunning short-handed goal that saw him pull off three consecutive dekes before the puck flew off of his stick past the goaltender. While that goal was a beauty, Lalkin brings a lot more to the table.

The Mississauga Reps forward has all the tools to become a deadly offensive presence in the OHL. Coaches love players who can play the game at high speeds and Ben-Chaim Lalkin does just that and more starting with his skating. Lalkin is a fast skater and is tough for defenders to contain when he turns on the jets. He can easily beat defenders in a foot race and he does a great job controlling the puck. He can pull off fancy moves at high-speeds and makes decisions faster than anyone on the ice. When he decides he’s going to make a move, you would think that he had planned it while sitting on the bench while in reality, he makes quick split-second decisions as he processes the game at high speeds. His puck-control and quick hands are some of the best amongst 2005 born GTHL players.

Like everything else about his game, Lalkin gets the puck off of his stick quickly. When shooting or passing the puck, Lalkin does so effortlessly with precision. He makes very hard tape-to-tape passes with a high degree of accuracy as well.
