One of the more underrated names to keep an eye out on ahead of the 2021 OHL Priority Selection Draft is Brandon Scott.  There is a lot to like surrounding the Markham Majors alternate captain who plays a very complete game. Scott is a strong puck-mover and plays a strong game when on the rush. When the pace of the game is moving fast, Brandon Scott does not look out of place. He moves the puck with speed and can skate from his own end to the offensive zone himself or simply outskate players in his own zone to create time and space for himself to get the puck off of his stick safely. Scott can also change directions in the blind of an eye and does so to force attackers off of his trail in the defensive zone. His skating speed comes from his long strides and leg strength. In addition to his quick skating, the most noticeable aspect of Brandon Scott’s game is his passing abilities. He makes accurate passes that always seem to be on target but the most noticeable trait is power and speed of his passes. The puck rifles off of his stick like a slingshot and definitely appears to be translatable to the next level. Like his passing, when Brandon Scott shoots the puck it gets off of his stick really quickly. While he could stand to use it more, his slap-shot has considerable power and speed as well. Scott stands tall on the ice and uses his long reach and size to battle attackers and take pucks away in his own zone. He uses the body to battle players in front of the net and outmuscling them.
