Cam Briere is a confident center who is highly effective in the offensive zone. Briere moved from the GTHL’s Mississauga Senators to play in the Tier 1 Elite Hockey League in the U.S. with the Nashville Jr. Predators where he is the squad's youngest player.

Briere plays a very complete game with little to no cause for concern. He is a hard working player with a high compete level. In the offensive zone Briere likes to pressure the puck carrier and is strong on the forecheck. To complement his forechecking abilities and 2-way game, Briere is always willing to get into the physical aspect of the game. He does not shy away from using his body to lay a big hit or engage in board battles. He has good on-ice awareness and anticipation and is constantly seen intercepting passes to create dangerous scoring chances.

As adept as he is in the defensive aspect of his game, his offensive game is even stronger. Cameron Briere is always one of the most dangerous players on the ice. With or without the puck on his stick, defenseman cannot afford to leave Briere alone. When he doesn’t have the puck on his stick he is always making sure that he is in the right position and is a dangerous player around the net. He likes to carry the puck on his stick and does so with skill and confidence. He is not easy to take the puck away from and has quick hands and a good shot at his disposal. Briere is also a strong skater with a great technique.

Cameron Briere has a boatload of potential and if he continues to improve at the pace which he has been, He has all of the tools to become a dynamic player at the next level.
