The total package, Jamie Darlison is a tremendous all-around prospect. Darlison is well equipped to play both sides of the ice, a strong scorer as well as a reliable and strong defensive forward. Darlison's ability to play both ends of the puck makes him incredibly versatile as to positioning, as well as making him available to play on any line/unit throughout the course of a game. Darlison has a solid shot, able to beat goaltenders with a fast release wrister, or by utilizing his smooth as butter hands to finesse the goalie into an unfavorable position. Darlison uses his size well, a strong athletic player able to move through contact when pushing the puck into the offensive zone, as well as able to make effective checks on the puck while moving back on defense. Darlison's ability to make an impact physically cannot be understated as he has no problems dishing out contact whenever the opportunity arises. Darlison's potential is fantastic, a high upside if there ever was one. Darlison will look to keep improving his skill set, and finding a way to separate himself from the pack in the 05’ draft class. With many weapons in his skillset at his disposal, Darlison will need to find a particular strength in his game and master it to become a legitimate threat at the junior level.
