The Prospects by Sports Illustrated Internship Program

Now accepting applications for roles in Sports Media, Sports Marketing, Event Management and Journalism.

Owen Shore has always been a standout player in Alliance Hockey, and he has continued to live up to that expectation for his draft year. Owen has a tremendous hockey sense and was able to showcase his crisp playmaking and wicked shot last season scoring 16 goals and 16 assists in 41 games. He has a strong work ethic and plays to compete. As one of the better scorers on his team, Owen has a lot of potential as an offensive winger, but his skill does not shine bright enough at certain points. When he is able to display that talent, he is a great player, but he will need to be great at a consistent level to excel at the next stage of competition. If Shore is able to put in effort all over the ice, it will be a major step in his development for his game and will translate smoothly to the next level.
