Powerforwards are quickly returning to the NHL and taking it by storm. Look at Gabriel Landeskog or the Tkachuk brothers, these players score, hit and bring energy to hockey bringing in fans by themself. Aiden fits this bill perfectly, from strong puck protection to an above average shot he’s a player you want on your team and hate to face. In the offensive zone Aiden can be seen down low battling hard to come out with the puck and feed it to a teammate out front. He has above average vision and finds open teammates for easy goals. If he doesn’t see an open teammate he is strong enough and capable enough to will his way to the slot and use his OHL level shot to put the puck into the back of the net. He forechecks incredibly hard but backchecks just as hard and though he’s still working on his full 200 foot game is no liability in his own zone. Aiden plays on his team's powerplay and is used to battle in front of the net and shoot the puck into the twine. As Aiden fills into his body and grows both physically and as a player he has all the talent to be an effective player at the next level.
