Frankie Bruno proves that you don’t need to be the biggest or most skilled player on the ice to make a major impact in the game. Bruno plays for the Toronto Jr. Canadiens where he can act as a secret weapon. He oftentimes goes unnoticed before he turns on the jets to drive to the net and poke the puck past goaltenders to get his team on the board. Bruno’s playing style allows him to be effective no matter who his line mates are or what line he is on. He can play just as well on the top line alongside the best 05’s as he can in a more defensive role. He meshes well with the best as he is always able to get in a scoring position and has a nose for the net. Bruno is one of the smaller players on the ice however he doesn’t let his size impact his game. He battles hard on then back check and uses his speed to his advantage. He likes to get the puck off of his stick quickly and is rarely in a position where he will get outmuscled or hit away from the puck. Working on his speed and overall quickness will be a key aspect of his game that he will need to continue to get better on to make it to the next level.
