Despite this, Paquette also has a good defensive game as well, making him a pretty solid two way defenseman for Myers. Paquette also has extremely good work ethic, which could be an important eye catcher for teams around draft day. The biggest thing Paquette needs to do is fine tune all of his skills, however with a work ethic like his, it shouldn’t be much of an issue. By working on these skills, Paquette could blossom into a nice little draft pick for any OHL team, especially as he continues to improve. While he may not be an elite player, he is definitely someone to take a look at, as work ethic is extremely important, and could pair nicely with his already impressive two way game. If any OHL team is looking for a hard working defenseman who can put up points and play well in his zone, even if it may take a year or two to develop him, Paquette could be an excellent choice to target.
