A big-bodied forward Kieron Walton is a skilled big forward who defines power forward. Kieron uses a wonderful mix of strength and skills that make him a threat with and without the puck. When he has the puck Walton has wonderful hands and hand-eye coordination which allows him to get around opposing defenders, however, he is smart and knows when to use his body to protect the puck. He uses this to bring the puck into the slot and fire off his shot. He also has the ability to bang in dirty goals around the net using his sheer size and finish his own rebounds. He also has a pristine vision which allows him to find soft spots in opponents' defence and open teammates. Like most power forwards he forechecks very hard and loves to throw hits in the corners. He is a star in his own zone as well, he blocks lots of shots and breaks up plays effectively. His positioning in his own zone is very good and he knows where to be effective, he uses his body here as well to force opponents off the puck. As Kieron continues to fill in and grow, his play as a power forward will only get better and his already high ceiling will only get higher
