Called one of the top 2006 born goalies by teams around the league, Landon Miller has the potential to be a star goalie in the OHL. Landon, big for his age and continuing to grow is a very athletic and quick goalie for his size. Landon shifts around his net quickly and follows developing plays well-staying square to the puck and well-positioned at all times. He is quick and can move side to side without issues and is strong on his edges. He is calm and never seems to be scrambling or uncomfortable on the net and he has a calming presence. During breakaway’s and shootouts, Miller matches opponents' speeds well and makes big-time saves when his team needs them most. Landon is very technically sound and angles off shots well, never seeming out of position when the pucks in tight and limiting the amount of net exposed. His glove hand is very strong and the stick side is sound as well. Down low he has strong legs and closes up his five-hole with no issues. He relies on his size quite a bit like most big young goalies but this is something he’s quickly learning to avoid. Landon has great rebound control and on the off chance he does give off a poor rebound he has the athleticism and recovery to make up for it. He communicates with his defenders well and reads developing plays like a book. As he continues to develop, the future looks very bright for this developing netminder.
