An extremely serviceable forward, Logan Sawyer brings high end offense to any team. Sawyer is one of those forwards who is capable of shifting between both center and wing, greatly increasing his draft stock coming up to the 2022 OHL draft, as teams could be looking for some versatility in their forward group. Sawyer creates amazing offensive opportunities through his presence around the front of the net, capitalizing on rebounds and scrappy goals when he gets the chance. Despite this, Sawyer is still a very capable goal scorer away from this, making him even more valuable to his team. Sawyer also possesses high end vision on the ice, allowing him to see where everyone is at, to find open ice, and to see where the openings are to make a play. As for things to work on, Sawyer would benefit greatly from working more on his first few strides, which could help him become a more explosive forward that can couple his goal scoring and speed together to become a lethal offensive threat. Away from the ice, Sawyer is a bit of a quieter player, however he has an amazing sense of humour and is known to crack the occasional joke. At the OHL level, Sawyer could develop into a serviceable, offensively minded forward, who can slot in as a complimentary piece that can battle at the net front and score goals up and down the lineup. Sawyer could likely be drafted somewhere amongst the middle of the OHL draft, where he could likely step into the OHL within his first few seasons of eligibility.
