An effective two-way forward, with a style similar to that of Sidney Crosby, Rocco Bigioni is one of the leading scorers for the Ajax-Pickering Raiders this season. Bigioni is a very defensively responsible player in his own end, with excellent puck protection abilities, which help him greatly in all zones of the ice. Along with his strong defensive game, Bigioni displays a great scoring ability thanks to his good shot and fast release, allowing him to be a threat at both ends of the ice. Bigioni is also a very flexible player, who can be played in multiple different positions and be able to adapt to the new role very quickly. Thanks to this, Bigioni is more of a C/W type of forward, which will help to raise his draft stock with his sheer versatility alone. Bigioni displays a very high compete level and is extremely hard working, with a never give up attitude. Bigioni has been looking to work further on his first three strides in order to get up to top speed even faster, which would help to turn him into an even more lethal offensive threat. At the 2022 OHL draft, a team could look to take him in the middle rounds, where he could develop into a speedy two-way winger, who can be deployed on the teams special teams units, while also being able to deal damage in 5-on-5 scenarios.
