Ty Wilson is one of the top players for the Oshawa Generals squad. As of now, it is looking like Wilson is slated to have an absolute breakout season when play resumes fully. He is a big defenseman who plays a very strong game. He is a very strong skating player, and plays a heavy physical game in the defensive zone. As well as this, Wilson is no stranger to jumping up into the rush, where he can either join it or lead it himself. Because of this, Wilson has been able to display tons of upside on the special teams end of things for his club. While the 2022 OHL draft is still quite a ways out, Wilson will continue to work on his game and continue to grow, which will only help improve on his game even more. As the draft approaches, Wilson could begin to make a case for himself as a defenseman that teams could look at due to his strong offensive ability, but also his defensive ability in his own zone. If there is a team out there who is looking for a big, physical, potential two way defender, Wilson could be your guy. Only time will tell, but Wilson could have a bright future ahead of him.
