An upcoming goalie prospect, Zachary Bowen has the potential to become a stellar goaltender in the next coming years. Bowen, a top goalie in the HEO, is as cold as they come. With a calm, poised demeanor, Bowen is incredibly hard to rattle, keeping his composure in even the most stressful in-game situations. With his clutch gene always on display, Bowen is able to keep his team in a game, giving them ample opportunities to walk away with the victory. Bowen is a solid athlete for his position, quick both on his blocker and glove side, as well as within his ability to glide across the crease to make tough saves on high danger scoring opportunities. Bowen uses his speed and awareness to thwart oncoming shooters, and stonewalls even the best of scoring opportunities. Bowen has decent size but scouts hope to see him continue to develop physically as to increase in his length and size. Bowen is a great all-around goaltender, but has room for improvement overall. For Bowen to increase his draft stock he will need to improve upon his ability to control the puck both off of rebounds, as well as by stick control. If Bowen can continue to evolve as a player and continue to excel as an athlete, he could become a strong force at the next level.
