A terrific athlete, Aiden Farr is a tenacious defenceman that plays with a killer mentality from the  initial drop of the puck until the final horn sounds. Farr is a great skater, incredibly mobile and able to move around the ice well. With his solid mobility Farr is able to move effectively with and without the puck in order to create scoring opportunities for his team. Strong as an ox, Farr never backs down from a challenge, often coming out on top of any physical battle. Farr’s strength allows him to lay hard hits in the defensive zone and can muscle through contact while bringing the puck up the ice in transition. With Farr’s combination of mobility and strength, he can cause a plethora of issues for teams unable to match his high level of athleticism. Farr is much more than just an athlete, his defensive skill set is at an elite level. Able to position himself and play angles well, Farr is incredibly skilled at taking away scoring chances from the opposition. Farr excels at neutralizing the top offensive player on opposing teams, embracing the matchup and working tirelessly to render them ineffective. Farr is terrific at running the powerplay, moving the puck well from the top, easily able to make smart reads and find scoring opportunities with the man advantage. Among his impressive skills, Farr’s mentality is what sets him apart from the crowd. Far has a high compete level, never giving up on a shift. Far will do whatever it takes to win, making both the big plays, as well as the gritty but crucial plays needed to secure victory. Far possesses fantastic upside, and is poised to make an immediate impact at the next level of the game.
