Brett Bouchard is a dangerous player with a goal-scoring mentality. Bouchard plays a fast-paced game centered around getting pucks on net. He is regularly one of the fastest players on the ice and reaches top speed in just a couple of strides. Bouchard is a strong offensive minded player who will always do what he can to drive the attack.. He does a good job finding himself in scoring positions and getting to pucks in the slot. He has a good wrist-shot with a quick release that requires minimal movement of his stick which can deceive defenders. He is quick with the puck on his stick and thinks the game at a fast-pace. Bouchard’s overall game is strong however he does need to continue to improve. He is relied upon to compete against opposing teams top lines every night but still needs to improve his decision making skills and vision when shooting the puck. He has shown flashes of his ability to do this every night but needs to become more consistent. If he continues to improve his game and get stronger ahead of the season, then Bouchard could be a big riser at the 2021 OHL Draft.
