The Prospects by Sports Illustrated Internship Program

Now accepting applications for roles in Sports Media, Sports Marketing, Event Management and Journalism.

A pure, high octane forward, Brodie Pithie finds his comparable in David Pastnrak. This is due to his amazing shot, which helped him rise up as Whitby’s second highest goal scorer during the 2021-22 campaign. Despite being a great goal scorer, Pithie has a great playmaking ability, and can see the ice very well. Pithie is a great teammate, using his compassionate personality to always try and bring up his teammates. Pithie is also an extremely hard worker and is ultra competitive, being someone who embraces the challenge of being the guy when needed. All of Pithie’s personality traits have really helped him develop into a proper leader on and off the ice. Pithie is very versatile, being able to slide around positionally, from net front to the point and anything in between. Pithie uses his competitiveness off the ice as well, using it to elevate his marks in school, as well as joining student council and the high school team (all while still playing AAA). Pithie spends his summer months constantly practicing, especially shooting the puck and working out, while also participating in summer tournaments. Pithie is also a big fan of golf, and loves to hang around with his friends and family.
