Cole MacArthur is an aggressive right-handed blue liner. Cole excels in the physical aspect of the game allowing him to dominate the defensive zone. Using his full ice vision, Cole is able to make smart decisions. Cole continuously works hard to win puck battles and is able to make heads up plays and crisp breakout passes once he succeeds. Using his aggression, he ensures that the opposing team will have a tough time crossing into his zone. Cole is working to strengthen his puck skills and become a more agile skater so that he can change direction and accelerate at a faster rate. MacArthur is not afraid to go deep into corners and his large frame makes him physically intimidating to opponents. It is good to see a player this age that isn’t afraid to throw his weight around. A physical defender like MacArthur is hard to come by and whichever OHL team he is picked up by should be able to use this to their advantage.
