An absolute monster of a defenseman, Grayden Strohack is known for his two-way play overall. Strohack likes to skate with the puck and tends to jump into the rush offensively, but he also has a very solid defensive game as well, which sees him utilizing a highly physical side of his game, where he uses his strength and large frame to push people around. Strohack also has the ability to read the play very well and quickly cause turnovers. The way Strohack plays has led him to compare himself to Victor Hedman, who is another defenseman who is very big and is capable of dominating in all 3 zones of the ice. Strohack is typically a pretty funny guy in the room, but come game time he is more serious and hard working, and he encourages his teammates to be the best that they can be as well. Strohack feels that he is ready to make the next step towards the OHL at the 2022 draft, thanks to his size, puck moving skills, and skating, however he is also working more on his physicality and offensive game further, just to bolster both sides of it. Once in the OHL, Strohack can use his large frame to be a heavy hitting, two-way defenseman, who can generate offense off the rush, while also serving as a reliable member of the teams defensive side of the game as well.
