Wismer's skating level is spectacularly high as he is able to get wherever he desires on the ice any given shift. With his skating ability coupled with his great hands, Wismer is fantastic at handling the puck. Wismer excels at walking the blue line, as well as pushing the puck into the offensive zone. Wismer's ability to control the puck makes him a threat no matter the situation at hand. Wismer may be a tremendous puck handler but his ability to pass the puck off to his linemates is also superb. Wismer is a great passer, able to find his teammates in open situations in any zone. Wismer is an incredibly hard worker on and off the ice. Wismer is an eyes wide open player, wanting to improve his game at any given chance. Wismer translates his high work ethic onto the ice during in-game scenarios, able to fight for possession of the puck relentlessly, as well as races for every loose puck that enters his zone. Moving forward Wismer will need to work on his positioning ability. Wismer still finds himself wandering into the wrong spot on the ice at times which can cause stalls on offence and gaps in the defense. If Wismer can improve his positional awareness he will become far more efficient while on the ice. Wismer has high end skill, as well as high end potential. If Wismer can continue to work hard on his game, as well as continue to mature both physically and mentally, Wismer will become a solid prospect to watch in the near future.
