One of the greatest stories in hockey, Karter Robertson could become a phenomenal prospect to watch entering the next level. A cancer survivor, Robertson is a strong individual on and off the ice. Robertson never lets adversity get in his way and has worked his tail off to become a fantastic all-around player. Robertson has tremendous hockey IQ, able to make quick decisions and find the best scoring chance on the ice, as well as develop plays at the blue line. Robertson understands the game well and is able to position himself well on the ice in order to make the winning play on both sides of the puck. Robertson has strong offensive ability but he thrives when inside the defensive zone. Robertson is a lockdown player, able to match up with the opponents top offensive player and render them useless. Robertson moves well on the ice with impressive skating ability, able to fly down the ice to make a play on the puck. With his strong speed and skating skills, Robertsons mobility is high end for 05’ prospects. Before moving on to the next level, Robertson will need to improve his ability to handle the puck, as well as develop a mean streak in regards to physicality. If Robertson can make these strides he has all the potential in the world to become a solid player anywhere he goes to play the game of hockey.
