Possessing tremendous speed, skating and edges, as well as amazing hands and a quick shot, Maddyx Chaput is not the kind of guy you want to see speeding up the wing. Chaput excels thanks to his passing abilities, and is known to battle hard for the puck. Chaput is also known for playing a complete 200 foot game, and is extremely competitive. Chaput’s abilities thus give him comparables like Patrick Kane or Mitch Marner, both of which share his drive, competitiveness, skill, hands, and IQ. Chaput is also dominant in the faceoff circle. Chaput is a natural leader on and off the ice, and has a total willingness to learn, applying effort to everything he does in life. Chaput has a natural drive and fire, which is always lit, which can make him a very feisty, determined, and relentless player on the ice, something every coach would love to see in a player. Chaput, alongside his twin brother Hudsyn, has done quite the fair bit of work in his young career. Entering his 5th year with the Lakers, Chaput has already been a part of 3 Alliance Championships and one OHF Championship. Chaput has also been at the Quebec Peewee International Tournament, as well as having played in both Sweden and Finland at one point as well. Chaput is a multisport athlete, being both a hockey and soccer player. Get out and see Chaput next when he joins Team Canada Red at the PSI All-Star Challenge in July, where he will work to be a key contributor in the team's push to winning it all!
