One of the top goal scorers in the ETA, Matthew Bush is an absolute sniper. Bush has led his North Central Predators in scoring in the past and it is no secret why, Bush's offensive skills are elite. Bush is a workhorse on the ice, moving effectively both with and without the puck, and takes on hard matchups with other top forwards on the defensive end. While not the most conventional shooting mechanics, Bush’s wrister is on another level. Able to pick his spot and deliver a rocket on net, Bush’s shot is a thing of beauty. While his wrister may be deadly, his poor shooting mechanics prevent him from having an effective slap shot. Bush is primarily a goal scorer, but excels at facilitating for his linemates as well. With great IQ, Bush can read plays well and move the puck to his teammates with a purpose, setting them up for open scoring chances. With his natural athleticism and strong scoring ability it is clear that Bush has fantastic upside. With improvements to his shooting mechanics and the development of his slap shot, Bush could become one of the best offensive players at the junior level in a short matter of time.
