Michael Modeslky is an American goaltender out of the Detroit Compuware program in the HPHL. Modeslky isn’t the biggest goaltender around but he makes up for it with his speed and quick reflexes on the ice. They say that the goaltender should be one of the best skaters on your team and Modeslky is definitely up there. He gets from post to post effortlessly with grace and if he is ever out of position he can get back to his spot in the crease in no time at all. To complement his quickness, Modeslky rarely bites on a play. Whenever he is faced with a breakaway, odd man rushes, or shootout attempts, Modeslky stays with the puck and can track it as if the play is moving in slow motion. Even if he does happen to get beaten on the initial attempt, he doesn’t give up doing whatever he can to make sure the puck stays out of net. He is an athletic goaltender that can make big saves in key moments of the game.
