Right shooting defenseman, Aiden Jenks, is a player who prides himself on being a true team player, meaning he is a player who understands that no one player can carry a team on their own. Jenks is a defenseman who has really been making a name for himself over the years in AAA, and as of late, has been sought out by multiple teams. Jenks is a fantastic skater with a high IQ and a strong shot, all of which have commanded a lot of attention from onlookers. Jenks is constantly working on his skills, whether it be his stickwork, play with the puck, or using his voice. Jenks is working on being more vocal, and making it known when he is open to receive a pass in the open areas of the ice. Jenks is also working on developing a more offensive mindset, as well as working more on getting comfortable on the back hand. Overall, Jenks is a very strong, sound defenseman. He can play at both ends of the ice with great skill. For the OHL, Jenks could possibly go on to make more of a name for himself as next season unfolds, but he could make for a very solid pickup for a team in 2022. Jenks could end up developing into a more two way style of game, where he can pack a strong shot and exceptional passing abilities to set up his teammates, or stick around on the blue line and cut off the opposing threats.
