One of the O’Toole twins, right shooting Aiden O’Toole is the polar opposite of his brother, Tyler. O’Toole is a relentless and shifty player, with great offensive upside. He is known to drive hard into the corners, and is one of the hardest forecheckers around. Coupled with his excellent hockey sense, this allows O’Toole to come out of the corners 90% of the time with the puck on his stick. O’Toole is in love with the game, and has been playing at the AAA level for a long time, and can frequently be found participating in other athletic activities, either in the gym, or other sports, where he is renowned in lacrosse, ball hockey, and roller hockey. He is a strong academic mind, but is shyer and quieter, bringing a very laid back personality to the team. O’Toole is dedicated to his goal of making the OHL, and understands the work that will have to go in to get him there. He is a player who is capable of pushing the play, and making the right passes in the moment, and has coupled these with his toughness to shine in every age level that he has played in. The one thing O’Toole has been working tirelessly on is his speed, which would further improve his abilities, allowing him to win the foot races into the corner even more frequently. At the OHL level, O’Toole could see himself going in one of the higher rounds, where he would be an absolute treat for whichever team drafts him. O’Toole could project out as a similar player to what he is right now, a sturdy and relentless forechecking winger, who can bully his opposition in the corner, and strip them of the puck. This is a player who will only get better as time goes on, and thus, every OHL team should have their eyes on him coming up to the 2022 OHL draft.
