Ranking highly amongst the top 50 prospects list, Braedyn Rogers has blossomed into a high octane defenseman. Rogers is adept in the offensive side of the game, sporting an extremely heavy shot, and being able to put up high numbers, allowing him to lead his team in defensive scoring. While Rogers still serves as the teams no. 2, he has matured in his game greatly since the last season they would have played, and has become a very well rounded and dependable player. Rogers is an extremely dedicated player, and is seen as a great teammate, someone who would mesh well in any room. Rogers’ size helps him greatly as well, as he is a big, strong defenseman in his own zone, allowing him to muscle away attackers and take the battles in the corners easily. While Rogers used to have a weakness in his skating, he has since improved greatly, and is now encouraged to work on the smaller details of his game. With the 2022 OHL draft coming up, expect to see Rogers go within the first couple rounds. Right now, he is very highly touted amongst scouts, and thanks to him being a right handed shot, his stock will increase further. With his high offensive talent coupled in, Rogers will become a great OHL prospect that will likely step in within a year or sooner, becoming a lethal offensive defenseman, who can be relied on in his own zone, dominating at the other end of the ice.
