An extremely athletic, yet calm goaltender, London’s Brogan Colquhoun is making tracks to being one of the top available goalies in the 2022 OHL draft. Colquhoun prides himself on his structured goaltending, and the fact that he serves as a difference maker on the ice. He simply thrives under pressure, and uses it as motivation to work to help his team to win. Colquhoun loves to make the big save, and displays amazing rebound control, while also having a high hockey IQ that compliments the rest of his game. Colquhoun has a very high work ethic, and pushes himself to the limits at every practice and game, partially due to his high compete level and partially due to his coachability, which has seen him stick around in the AAA scene for 6 years. Colquhoun is the youngest of 3, so he understands that you have to work hard to get what you want. This is displayed off the ice in his schooling, as he has an average above a 90% in school, has been on the honour roll, and has received the Reward of Excellence in the past, making him one smart tendie. He strives to achieve excellence in everything, making him someone who leads by example. Colquhoun is an energetic person, and has an extremely big heart, making him a very likable player both on and off the ice. Right now, he is working on staying upright while maintaining a more proper stance as opposed to a wider one. He is also working on his agility further, as well as trying to get some more stickwork involved in his plays. At the draft, expect to see Colquhoun ranked amongst some of the top goalies, where he could turn into a solid backbone goaltender for his draft team. Thanks to his booksmarts, Colquhoun could not only thrive on the ice, but he could be amongst the top scholastic around.
