Right shooting centreman, Cam Springer, is one of the best available, 200 foot, American players available for the 2022 OHL draft. Springer displays a high awareness when on the ice, at both ends of the play. He is someone who is able to perform well regardless of the circumstances that he’s been thrust into. Springer serves as the Compuware captain, and displays amazing natural leadership abilities. He comes to games with a very serious tone, and he plays with a purpose. He has a very “it’s game time” mentality, which really adds to his leadership and ultra serious nature. He is also described as a great student. Springer is a player who is very good at a lot of things, and is encouraged to continue to master his craft. He could also continue to work on having quicker feet, and if he can do that, the sky’s the limit. OHL wise, Springer can find himself amongst the ranks of higher drafted American players, floating around some of the higher rounds. Springer is certainly a player that should be in the notes coming up to the draft, as he could prove to be a very valuable asset for the team who drafts him.
