Comparable to someone like Florida Panthers forward, Vinnie Hinostroza, Charlie Pardue is a very high paced, high intensity player. Pardue plays his whole game at great speed, and utilizes that to create great chances and catch his opponents off guard. Pardue also has a very good two way game, as he can play very well in both the offensive and defensive zones. Regardless of the zone, Pardue plays extremely hard, and has a very high compete level. Pardue could benefit greatly from working on his patience, allowing for him to take a look around before making a decision. He is very respectful and calm, as well as a good teammate. He is pretty mild tempered, but he does have a hot switch at times as well. Pardue is a player that teams should be targeting for sure, most likely in the mid to later rounds, where he could end up being a pretty nice addition to any OHL club during the 2022 OHL draft. If given the chance, Pardue could continue to follow his playstyle and develop into a good two way forward that can transition from centre to wing if needed. While it is too soon to truly rank Pardue,, he should not be skipped, as he could be a good OHL player if he chooses to sign with his draft team. Only time will tell.
