Christian Macieri is a strong blue-liner who is consistent at both ends of the ice. Defensively, Macieri tries to make sure he is the last man back and never leaves his goaltender out to dry. He enjoys the physical aspects of the game and uses his strength to lay out big hits and engage in board battles. Macieri is also a powerful skater and despite not being the fastest player on the ice, he uses his size and puck control to carry the puck into the offensive zone and more importantly get it out of his team's own zone. Offensively, Macieri is not a flashy high-end threat. The bulk of his offence stems from his booming slap-shot and tendency to get pucks on net. When he wants too, Macieri can unleash a rocket slap-shot that he gets off of his stick with speed, accuracy, and power.. Continuing to improve upon his shot accuracy and  shooting pucks more frequently, especially on the man-advantage, will definitely be something that will increase his stock ahead of the 2021 OHL Priority Selection Draft.
