Connor D’Angelo is one player that should have some looks now, and definitely in the future. He is a very strong, fast forward, who brings an impressive 200 foot game to the table. D’Angelo has an extremely high compete level, and is known to work hard during practices and games. Though he isn’t big, he is extremely strong, and coupled with his great speed, he is very capable of controlling the pace and tempo of the game. D’Angelo also has great vision while playing at high speed. He is a very lead by example type of player, and brings a lot of leadership qualities to a team. Due to his great skill set, D’Angelo could develop into a very smart playmaking winger, where he can use his great speed to shoot up the ice, while even lugging along an opponent if he has to, and then make a play while keeping pace. This could be something very reminiscent of Connor McDavid, where he is capable of playing at speed, and using deception to make high speed playse before anyone really catches on. D’Angelo is certainly a player that should have a page taken out on him by any team as the 2022 OHL draft approaches.
