A young goalie sensation, Danny Doyle was part of the small group selected for the Alliance All-Star game. Doyle prides himself on his poise and ability to be a calming presence in the net. He is an extremely competitive goalie, and will work to give his team a winning chance night in and night out. Doyle displays high end rebound control as well, allowing him to kick pucks into the corner or out of dangerous areas, making it so that the opposing team does not get a second shooting opportunity. Doyle likes to bring some fun to the room, but during game time or schooling, he is completely locked in and serious. Doyle brings a highly positive attitude with him every day at practice, making him a highly likable player overall. As for the 2022 OHL draft, Doyle is excited for the opportunity and has been working for years to get to the next level. While he is working on his strength and speed, Doyle has a lot of confidence in his game, but he understands that he needs to put in twice as much work as the next guy to get his crack at the junior level. Doyle knows it will be a tough path, but he is looking forward to competing with the older, more experienced goalies, in order to earn his spot at the next level. Expect Doyle to be ranked higher amongst the eligible goalies, thanks to his strong play and All-Star nomination. Doyle could pan out to be a top goalie prospect for his OHL club, so to whoever drafts him, expect him to give you his all as he tries to make the jump.
