Right shooting forward, Drew Huffnagle, is a jack of all trades. Huffnagle is one of those few players that has the ability to play on any of the three forward positions with no issue at all. Huffnagle is that proto-typical “Mr. Reliable” for the Blue Jackets, as he brings a very solid 200 foot game to the table. Huffnagle has a very defensive first mindset, and extremely good in the defensive zone and has great decision making. Huffnagle knows the game well, and is constantly looking to improve. He is a very coachable player that likes to listen and learn before going out and trying something. Huffnagle is a quieter player, but he leads his team by example. His shot could use some work, which could help him further develop his two way game. Huffnagle could pan out as any of the three forward positions in the OHL, but based on his defensive abilities, he could be a very solid, defensive minded centre. Continuing to further improve on his defensive play could really be a head turner, but most likely will result in Huffnagle being a more under the table kind of draft pick where not many teams really realize how good he is unless they scouted the team and saw him play.
