A skilled power forward prospect, Emmitt Robillard is a hard hitting player that makes strong efforts on and off the puck. With tremendous size and strength, Robillard is hard to move off the puck. Robillard uses his size well, able to fight through contact to gain possession of the puck, as well as can easily lay out hard hits to gain puck possession for his team. Robillard's strength can also make him a handful to deal with in front of the net as he can easily push back against defencemen and can use his strong hand-eye to make tip shots in traffic. Robillard is also a stellar skater, able to move around the ice smoothly and beats opposing players to his spot on the ice. Robillards length is also an asset as his long reach and long stick create takeaway chances for his team, as well as takes away space from opposing players in the defensive zone. As Robillard continues to grow his game will only become stronger and more physical. If Robillard can continue playing with a sense of vigour and aggressiveness he could develop into a terrific two-way player at the next level, able to make an impact whenever his number is called.
