Evan Krell is a big right-handed defenseman. Krell is a heads-up player that sees the ice offensively. He is a fast skater that can transition quickly from defense to offense to get up ice with the puck or jump into the play. His speed allows him to quickly recover, change direction, and get back into position. Evan demonstrates crisp tape-to-tape passes and strength to make space for himself and teammates. He can also play a physical game if needed to gain possession. He is currently working to improve the power and accuracy of his shot. Krell is a dedicated player on and off the ice and by continuing his extreme work ethic, an OHL team will see a fast and steady path of development.
