Don’t let his size confuse you, this farmer is always up for a challenge and is never going to back down. Evan VanGorp is a household name on the scoresheet, never taking a shift off and blowing by opponents as one of the fastest players in his age group. Evan will not be pushed around or seen as an easy player to play against due to his size. Known for his seed, agility and hands Evan can lead a transition and dish the puck better than most. On the breakout he uses his speed to get in one on one with the opponents and find a backdoor option or use his killer shot to put the puck in behind the goalie. Evan sets up his teammates constantly and uses his edgework and aforementioned skating ability to create space for his teammates. He is no slouch in his own zone, using his agility to outwork players down low and his speed to break up plays. Evan is working at picking his spots better and seeing things open up for him more but is always up for a challenge and will continue to get better at this. In short, counting this young scoring playmaker out for his size is a punishable mistake as this farmboy is stronge than he looks and ready to prove everyone who doubts him wrong
