Evan White is Victory Honda’s top defenseman. From being a good penalty killer to quarterbacking the power play, White simply does it all for his team. White is a very calm and composed defenseman, which is something that any team would value in a top defenseman. He has great vision and great hockey IQ, which can allow him to make well timed passes for breakouts, or find more room on the ice to make something happen. There are a few things that White could work on, with the first being his release, which could be faster, allowing for more scoring chances to be created. The others would be his shooting accuracy, as well as his strength, the latter being something that will come with age, as he continues to grow. All around, White is a good teammate, and should be on the radar of the many scouts in the Michigan area, as White could prove to be a decent little draft pick come the 2022 OHL draft day. Whether he becomes an early, to mid, to late round pick, White could be someone who develops into a solid, two way defender, who can play in any situation for his OHL club if he chooses to sign with them.
