Fresh off of a point per game OHL cup tournament, Jack Dean could be amongst some of the earlier picked wingers for the 2022 OHL draft. Dean, who was invited to and participated in the GTHL Top Prospects Game, is known for his shooting ability. Comparing himself to Alexander Ovechkin, Dean possesses an absolutely lethal shot with a very quick release. On top of this, Dean displays a highly creative mindset, which when coupled with his speed and shot, can make him a truly deadly offensive presence if his opponents are not careful. Due to his ability to shoot the puck as well as he can, Dean could really develop into a high end winger in the OHL, being able to fill the net with pucks, even without the help of his teammates. This could help land Dean in a team's top 6, where his ability to score would be even better due to the better talent helping him. With the draft coming up soon, expect Dean to go amongst the higher rounds, where he could likely take an extra year of development, before stepping in as a scoring winger in the OHL.
