Left shooting centre, Jared Langdon, is seen as one of the top 2 centremen in the ETA. Hockey is definitely not a new concept for Langdon, as he isn’t the only player from his family to play as his brother, Isaac, already plays in the OHL. Leadership is a key aspect, Langdon brings to a team, as he serves as one of the team's co-captains, and shows it on and off the ice. Langdon has a solid 200 foot game, making him a great player at both ends of the ice. Along with this, he can be deployed in any situation, as he plays on both the power play and penalty kill, while also ending up as the teams leading scorer within the last year. Langdon is a very diligent worker, and is incredibly easy to coach as well, which is an aspect that many OHL coaches would love in a young player. Langdon is known for being a quieter, but has a very "team first" mentality to him, another great sign of leadership. In the OHL, Langdon would most likely turn out as what he currently is now, a very solid two way centre, who can play at both ends of the ice and be called upon for the special teams, whether it be the PK, PP or even both. Langdon is most definitely a prospect that OHL scouts should be watching, both now and up until draft day, because he is someone who can turn a lot of heads and is arguably one of the top forwards coming into the draft. Only time will tell, especially with the lack of a proper season this year, but Jared Langdon is only going to continue to grow and develop, and if he does, he could become a driving force for any OHL team who decides to take a page on him.
