It’s all in the name for London forward Jett Luchanko, as he is a player with literal jets all over the ice. Luchanko utilizes his naturally high speeds to play a complete game all over the ice. Luchanko also displays an amazing hockey IQ, sporting great vision, which allows him to see the passing lanes effortlessly, as well as having a high defensive awareness in all situations. Due to his larger frame, Luchanko is also capable of playing a very physical game, laying his body quite frequently. This highly skilled playstyle has helped him secure a placement on the top 50 OHL prospects list. Luchanko is a very easy going player overall, and tends to crack the occasional joke with his teammates, but when game time comes around, he is completely locked in and focused. Luchanko has been working on adding further bulk, which would help his physical game greatly, and allow him to make bigger hits while playing an overall heavier game. Overall, expect Luchanko going within the first two rounds of the 2022 OHL draft, where he could likely step in within a year or sooner. At the OHL level, Luchanko will benefit a lot from adding some bulk as he plans to, which would get him more up to size with his competition, to where he could then utilize his extreme speed and playmaking ability to drive the play offensively and create high danger chances for his team in the offensive zone. Luchanko could likely become a top to middle 6 forward at the OHL level, but of course nothing is for certain, so he could very well be even better than expected.\
