A big, strong forward, Joshua Frenette, is a player that can play hard and tirelessly. Frenette can be trusted in the crunch time of a game to help get his team a goal, or even block that shot that not everyone would. Frenette displays leadership qualities, and he will continue to grow into a role revolving around his leadership ability as he gets older. A bit of a sleeper for the 2022 OHL draft, Frenette plays a highly skilled game, and has a great desire to play, while sporting an excellent hockey IQ to boot. Frenette has worked on his physical prep and skill development a ton, and is looking to be one of the top players on the Oshawa squad moving into next season. Frenette also aspires to keep his high academics intact, where he has currently succeeded at the highest of his ability, and sees how he wants to balance hockey and his academics. As he continues to press onwards with hockey, Frenette will continue to work on his game, where he is constantly aiming to get faster, stronger, and more explosive. Overall, Frenette could look like a very enticing player to go after in the draft next year, as he could up his draft stock a ton with a full season of play. Only time will tell, but for Frenette, he could be looking at a potentially solid future in hockey as long as he sticks to his guns and does what he does best.
